Duncan Friend, PhD

Duncan Friend holds a BA (with Honors) in Earth Sciences from Oxford and a PhD in Palaeontology from Cambridge. He did his Research Fellowship in Palaeontology at the Museum of Western Australia. He served as Education Officer for Earth Sciences at the Royal Society for Nature Conservation from 1998 through 2001, and during that time he served as Scientific Consultant for the 1999-2000 season of the Dinosaur Detectives BBC Television Series. Today he is a Freelance Consultant Geologist and science teacher living in England's Peak District.
