Gene Austin

American Singer (1900-1972)

Gene Austin was known as the first crooner in that musical genre, recording and writing many hits, including "My Blue Heaven," "Lonesome Road" and "Ramona." He sold over 80 million records, unmatched by a single artist for forty years.
