Leopold and Loeb

American Murder Trial (1924)

In 1924, Clarence Darrow defended Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb in what became known as the Leopold and Loeb trial. Darrow successfully argued that his clients should receive life in prison versus the death sentence in their murder case.
