On This Very Spot in 1932, Paul Bern died. At the time of his death, Bern was married to Jean Harlow.Over the years, rumors have survived as to whether Bern's death was a suicide or murder. Bern's death is regarded as one of the fore-runners in the Hollywood scandal chronicles.
On This Very Sport in 1968, Jay Sebring owned and lived in this home, at the time of death. Sebring was visiting Sharon Tate, when members of the Manson Family murdered them and three other victims.
