Where Warren Zevon wrote "Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner"

Calle Isla de Cuba, 9

On This Very Spot in 1974, Warren Zevon played Irish music in this small Irish bar in a town on the Costa Brava. The bar was owned by a mercenary named David Lindell and together they wrote "Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner." In 2003, Zevon performed this song on the Late Show with David Letterman, his last performance before his death.
