On This Very Spot sits the house where Casey Jones and his wife lived at the time of his heroic death. The house was opened as a Casey Jones railroad museum in 1956 and was relocated to this very spot in 1980 from its original location near downtown Jackson at 211 West Chester.

On This Very Spot is a railroad musuem containing personal belongings of the Jones family and various artifacts from the golden age of railroading, including a vintage engine, passenger car, caboose, hand cart, and other equipment.
