Edwin Perkins in 1927.

The museum houses the J.M. McDonald Planetarium, the Groundwater Discovery Adventure, and the Lied Super Screen Theatre. Many species of animal life are on display in dioramas representing their natural habitats. The museum also chronicles the history of the early inhabitants of the Nebraska plains and has an interactive exhibit, Kool-Aid: Discover the Dream.
