This is an operating museum open to the public. Admission prices are $3 for adults and $2 for youth.
Condition: This small "shotgun-style" house has been restored, but kept very much as it would have appeared when Handy lived there.
Parking: Metered parking and paid parking lots are available within short walking distance on all sides.
Location: Downtown Memphis, Tennessee on the northwest corner of Beale Street and Fourth Street, at the east end of the pedestrian section of Beale Street. Although the house faces Beale Street, it is set back away from the street a bit. You must actually turn onto Fourth Street and walk a few feet to the parking lot entrance of the museum.
